Biography:

Priyamani was born on June 4, 1984 in Palakkad, Kerala, India. Her acting career started with the 2003 Telugu movie Evare Atagaadu. The following year, she made her debut in both Tamil and Malayalam cinema with Kangalal Kaidhu Sei and Satyam.

In 2007, she gained acclaim for her performance in the Tamil feature Paruthi Veeran, for which she garnered awards including the National Film Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress.

The following year, she was recognized as one of the most talented actresses of her generation, receiving another Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her role in the Malayalam film Thirakkatha.
