In 2015, Santos had his first movie role as Heath in the comedy film Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. He gained wider recognition after landing the role of Mateo in the NBC sitcom Superstore, which he has been playing since 2015. He then joined the cast of the film Crazy Rich Asians as Oliver T’sien.
