Aubrey Plaza

It was in 2006 that Aubrey Plaza started her acting career on screen. During her early start, she appeared in a few short films, as well as in 30 Rock. She then came to prominence in 2009 after landing the role of April Ludgate in the award-winning comedy series Parks and Recreation. Her breakthrough on the show led her to land roles in movies. Hence, during her stint in Pars and Recreation, she also had roles in the films Mystery Team, Funny People, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World where she starred as Julie Powers.

She then became known for starring in the movie Safety Not Guaranteed. Other films include The To Do List, Monsters University, Life After Beth, Playing It Cool, and Dirty Grandpa. She even voiced Grumpy Cat in the film Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever. After Parks and Recreation ended in 2016, she starred in the movies Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, The Little Hours, and Ingrid Goes West. As of 2017, she also stars as Lenny Busker in the new series Legion.

Aubrey Plaza stays in shape by eating well and being active. She makes sure she stays mobile in her lifestyle to move her body at most times. Despite her crazy schedule, she sets some time for her exercise routine. In an interview, she was candid about what she does to stay fit and healthy at the same time. She said:

“I do a lot of stretches, though, and a lot of yoga. Ever see that Ingmar Bergman movie, Scenes from a Marriage? You know how in the morning, they get up and do the weird Swedish stretches? I like to think that they’re Swedish, anyway. I kind of do that, and I kind of improvise. Cardio bums me out, but I love yoga. I love anything that’s really calming. I think I hold a lot of tension in my body.”
