Neil Morrissey is an English actor who started his career in the 1980s. His film debut was in 1984’s The Bounty. He next had a recurring role in the miniseries Travellers by Night. He also played Rocky Cassidy in the TV crime drama Boon. In the 1990s, he became widely known for starring as Tony Smart in the British sitcom Men Behaving Badly. Also during this period, he had performances in the films Staggered, Up ‘n’ Under, and The Match. He also played the recurring character of Nick Cameron in the TV series The Vanishing Man. At the same time, Morrissey voiced the lead in the animated program Bob the Builder. In the 2000s, he starred as Eddie Lawson in Waterlood Road. The following decade, he played DC Nigel Morton in Line of Duty, Harry Palfrey in The Night Manager, and Greg McConnell in The Good Karma Hospital.
