Hollywood actress Lauren Cohan had her career beginnings in the mid-2000s. During her early start, she had roles in the films Casanova and Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj. Her first notable role on the small screen was as Bela Talbot in Supernatural. In the 2010s, she made guest appearances in such shows as Life, Modern Family, and Cold Case.

She next played recurring character Rose in The Vampire Diaries. She later played Vivian McArthur Volkoff in five episodes of Chuck. Her breakthrough role came in 2011 after she began playing the role of Maggie Greene in The Walking Dead. She’s still of the show’s main cast up to now. While working on the show, she’s also had roles in the movies Reach Me, The Boy, and All Eyez On Me. She also played Martha Wayne in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The 36-year-old actress stays in shape by sticking to a healthy lifestyle. Her role in The Walking Dead has also since required her to take care of herself. Everyone knows that the said series can be physically demanding and Lauren needs to do her part in order to be totally fit and healthy for her role. When asked about her workouts in an interview, she said:

“I have the best regime ever right now. I work with a trainer, AJ Fisher, and we do three to four days a week, either in person, if we’re in the same city, or on Skype. I do all core-based alignment training and strength training. If I don’t die at the end of 90 minutes, then it hasn’t been a good workout.”

The actress is also a fan of meditating. She explained: “The last few years, I’ve been focusing on consistency and balance, and it’s made a huge difference. I have timers on my phone for everything: It’s time to meditate, it’s time to do this. The best way for me to put it is that if my spiritual life isn’t bigger than my outside life, then I’m out of balance.”
