Subsequently, she starred in the movies The War at Home, Safe House, Just a Little Harmless Sex, and Simpatico. She gained further success on television when she landed the role of Dana in the series According to Jim.
She was part of the show’s main cast from 2001 to 2009. Aside from eating right by following a clean diet plan, the actress also sticks to an active lifestyle to maintain her overall fitness and health. In an interview, she talked about her lifestyle habits. When asked what her workout routine is like, she answered:
“I need to go to my yoga class—I love hot yoga! I work with a trainer and lift weights, plus I love to hike. We spend a lot of time out in California, so whenever we’re there, we’ll go hiking. I walk a lot too.” Going to a hot yoga class is the “me time” she needs in order to take a break. The actress also believes in the importance of moderation. She said: “For me, moderation is the key. I don’t do very well with extremes of any kind—extreme diets, extreme fitness—so moderation makes a lot of sense.”
