Biography:

Kelly Hu was born on February 16, 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

She won the title of Miss Hawaii Teen USA and competed in the Miss Teen USA in the 1985 pageant. She became the third titleholder in history and its first Asian-American winner.

She moved to Los Angeles in 1987 where she began her acting career. She has had television appearances in Growing Pains, Night Court, 21 Jump Street and Melrose Place.

She has also starred in films such as The Scorpion King, Cradle 2 the Grave and X2.
