Kajol Workout Routine


Indian actress Kajol had her career beginnings in the early 1990s, debuting in the Bollywood film Bekhudi. After this, she starred in the box-office hit Baazigar and had her first breakout role in 1994’s Yeh Dillagi. The rest of the 1990s saw her performing in blockbuster hits, such as in the movies Karan Arjun, Ishq, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, and Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain.

She was also praised for her performance in the movie Gupt: The Hidden Truth, for which she earned the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role. Meanwhile, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her work in the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. She has since won four more Best Actress awards at the Filmfare for her performances in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…, Fanaa, and My Name Is Khan. In 2015, she starred in the commercially successful Bollywood feature Dilwale. She next starred in the movies Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 and Helicopter Eela. She will star in the upcoming film Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior.

Proper nutrition and fitness are important parts of her lifestyle. Apart from sticking to clean, whole foods, she engages in a regular workout routine to stay in shape. Motherhood was an especially challenging time for her, fitness-wise. In an interview, she said it took her almost a year to get back in shape after giving birth.

“I followed a diet and regular workouts. Fitness has to be a part of your life, and not take over your entire life,” said the actress. But for the actress, it’s not about losing weight but maintaining a healthy body as a whole. It is reported that her general workout routine is a combination of endurance training, yoga, lifts, and squats.
