John Goodman is an American actor. He first became widely known in the late 1980s courtesy of his role as Dan Conner on the ABC TV series Roseanne. He reprised the said role in the recent sequel in 2018. For his performance in the show, he has also won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in 1993. He’s also best known for his work with the Coen brothers, including the films Raising Arizona, The Big Lebowski, O Brother, Where Art Thou, and Inside Llewyn Davis. In the 2010s, he’s also starred in the movies Argo, The Artist, 10 Cloverfield Lane, and Patriots Day. He has also starred in the shows Alpha House and Treme.
