Jane Leeves

It was in 1981 that Hollywood star Jane Leeves got her start in the acting industry. Her debut was in the TV movie called Nice to See You. She later made her first movie role in To Live and Die in L.A. On television, she made her debut in The Benny Hill Show, followed by a starring role in the series Throb. Following this, she played Audrey Cohen in the show Murphy Brown. In the ’90s, her career became more prolific.

She played recurring part Marla Penny in the sitcom Seinfeld before landing her breakout role as Daphne Moon in the sitcom Frasier. The sitcom aired on NBC for 11 seasons, earning her widespread prominence. When this ended, she went on making guest appearances in some shows. In the 2010s, she returned to prime time when she played Joy Scroggs in the TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland.

In order to stay in shape and maintain her svelte figure, the actress makes sure that she follows an active lifestyle aside from sticking to a healthy diet plan. Mainly she performs workouts on a regular basis to keep her heart rate up. Being a dancer, Jane has established a tone figure. Nonetheless, she said she makes an effort to do something active 4-5 times a week. For instance, she prefers using the stairs than using the elevator. This way, she is able to exercise her body by doing something basic.

“I try to vary my activities so I don’t get bored. It can be anything from weight training, swimming, walking, cycling, aerobatics, treadmills – anything,” she said. In another interview, she said: “I was a dancer, and I started very young. I don’t do anything on a daily basis, but I try to do a little cardiovascular work every now and again. And I love Pilates because that’s based on a dance framework.”
