William Ragsdale is an American actor. He started performing on stage plays. He gained mainstream recognition in the 1980s when he starred in the horror film Fright Night. The success of the movie led him to reprise his role in the sequel Fright Night 2. In the 1990s, he first starred in the film Mannequin Two: On the Move. On television, he first became known for his role as Herman Brooks on the sitcom Herman’s Head. The show aired on television for three seasons. He has since had notable roles on the TV shows Judging Amy and Grosse Pointe. Some of his recent works on film was in 2014’s Left Behind.
