Jake McDorman was born on July 8, 1986 in Dallas, Texas, USA. He made his first television appearance in 2003 with two episodes in the series Run of the House, playing the role of Scott Banks.

From 2004 to 2005, he became known for his portrayal of Parker Chase in the series Quintuplets. He has since appeared in other shows like House, CSI: Miami and Cold Case. He also starred in the direct-to-DVD movie Bring It On: All or Nothing.

In 2006, he gained attention for his role in the fantasy comedy film Aquamarine. He went on to star as Evan Chambers in the TV show Greek, for which he earned further fame.
