Biography:

Iwan Rheon was born on May 13, 1985 in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, Wales, UK. He was 17 when he began acting in school stage productions. He later attended London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art to hone his acting skills. A professional stage career then followed. From 2002 to 2004, he had a role on the Welsh soap opera Pobol y Cwm. His next screen role came after several years when he landed the role of Simon Bellamy on Misfits.

His television career more prolific during this time, appearing on the TV shows Coming Up, Grandma’s House, and Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Meanwhile, his first movie appearance was in 2011’s Resistance, followed by Wild Bill. In 2013, he came to wider prominence after he started playing the role of Ramsay Snow/Bolton on the acclaimed series Game of Thrones.
