Isabel Lucas‘ acting career started in Australia’s popular soap Home and Away. A few years after her role on the show ended, she moved to Hollywood to expand her career in a more international scope. She made her Hollywood debut in the science-fiction action film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, followed by Daybreakers. She ultimately landed roles in other mainstream feature films, including in Immortals and Red Dawn, garnering her further notice among moviegoers. Continuing her prolific career in the movies, she had roles in The Water Diviner, The Loft, and Knight of Cups.

The Australian actress is a vegetarian so her diet mostly consists of greens and other veggies, as well as other food rich in proteins that aren’t meat like soya and tofu. In 2010, she was even named the Australia’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity. As reported, Isabel became a vegetarian after watching the documentary Earthlings. Being a vegetarian for several years, the Aussie beauty said she doesn’t feel that her diet is limited, not at all. There are actually plenty of choices and because more and more people are changing their meat-based diet into vegetarian one, creations of alternatives becomes available each day.

As for Isabel, she said she eat lots of vegetables, pasta, and nuts, as well as tofu and soups. These are just some examples of her vegetarian diet, but there’s a lot more out there. She has decided to stay vegetarian because it works well for her body and she also feels that she’s more in tune. Other celebrities have tried being vegetarian but something about their bodies refuse such diet plan, so they go back to eating meat. Isabel, on the other hand, seems to be just fine with the food she eats. This is also one of the main reasons why she has maintained her slender figure all throughout these years.
