Alex Winter is an American actor. He’s also ventured into filmmaking. He began his acting career appearing in short films. In 1985, he made his film debut in Death Wish 3. He then became known for his role in 1987’s The Lost Boys. His next roles were in Haunted Summer and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. He reprised his role as Bill in the 1991 sequel Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. He next starred in the movie Freaked. In the 2000s, Winter became active as a television director. He directed shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Andy Milonakis Show, and Blue Mountain State, among others. More recently, he appeared as himself in the 2019 documentary In Search of Darkness. He also reprised his role as Bill in the 2020 sequel Bill & Ted Face the Music.
