Hollywood actress Helen Hunt had her career beginnings in the 1970s. During her early years, she had notable roles in the television shows The Swiss Family Robinson and The Fitzpatricks. In the 1980s, she starred in the television programs It Takes Two and St. Elsewhere, along with some TV films. In the ’90s, she became best known for starring as Jamie Stemple Buchman in the television series Mad About You.

Her role her earned her Primetime Emmy awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. Around this time, she also rose to fame for her lead role in the 1996 movie Twister. Her role in the movie As Good as It Gets earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress. Other notable roles in the movies were Cast Away, What Women Want, and Pay It Forward. In 2012, she was again acclaimed for her performance in the movie The Sessions. This earned her BAFTA and Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress.

Considering she’s in her mid-50s, it’s amazing how the award-winning actress still looks fabulous. She definitely looks younger than her age. This is because she takes care of herself. She doesn’t do any extreme dieting or fitness means though. She just does the basic when it comes to staying fit and healthy. In an interview, she talked about her fitness routine. She said:

“I say that I hike and do yoga. Although in the last couple months, there hasn’t been much of that going on, but as a general rule, I tend to move. I don’t go to a gym ever. I don’t diet ever. I used to diet but sometime after the eighties, it made me miserable, but I do like to walk, run, and I do like to surf when I can just to warm it up, and I do enjoy doing yoga when I can get there.”
