Biography:

Génesis Rodríguez was born on July 29, 1987 in Miami, Florida. She began acting in school plays. During her teens, she studied acting and dance. She trained during summer classes at the The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film institutes. Her first significant role was on the telenovela Prisionera. She went on to have lead roles on other telenovelas like Dame chocolate and Doña Bárbara.

In the 2010s, she had a recurring role on the HBO series Entourage. She then appeared on Made in Hollywood. She’s also a film actress with her first role in Man on a Ledge. She went on to appear in the films What to Expect When You’re Expecting, The Last Stand, and Run All Night. She’s also the voice of Honey Lemon in the animated movie Big Hero 6.
