Gail O'Grady

Hollywood star Gail O’Grady had her career beginnings in the mid-1980s, debuting with a two-episode role on Matlock. She next starred on the made-for-television film Billionaire Boys Club. Her first film was in 1988’s She’s Having a Baby. She next had roles in the movies Blackout and Spellcaster. During the 1990s, she had performances in the films Nobody’s Perfect, Celtic Pride, That Old Feeling, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, and Walking Across Egypt. She also starred in several TV movies. It was also during this period that she became widely known for starring as Donna Abandando on the television series NYPD Blue.

She got a Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role here. In the 2000s, she starred as Helen Pryor on American Dreams, which she played from 2002 to 2005. Following this, she starred on the short-lived shows Hot Properties and Hidden Palms. She later played Judge Gloria Weldon on Boston Legal and Anne Schilling on Desperate Housewives. In addition, she starred on the TV movie Sex and the Single Mom and its sequel More Sex & the Single Mom. Continuing her career in the 2010s, she starred as Wanda Perkins on Hellcats and Stevie Grayson on Revenge.

At age 55, the actress remains fit and fabulous. To stay in shape, she just tries her best to eat as healthily as possible. She doesn’t follow any special diet nor does she practice an intense workout routine. “I don’t have a strict diet or workout plan. I do intend to include that soon,” said the actress. Nonetheless, she loves to cook, which is why she prefers homemade meals rather than restaurant foods. With this, she can carefully choose the ingredients to put into her food. As she consciously prefers anything healthy, this helps her maintain a great figure.
