Taapsee Pannu was born on August 1, 1987 in Delhi, India. She worked as software professional and as a model before becoming an actress.

As a model, she appeared in a series of commercials and won titles such as “Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face” and “Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin” in 2008.

In 2010, she made her acting debut in the Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam. Since then, she has appeared in such movies as Aadukalam, Vastadu Naa Raju, Mr. Perfect and Vandhaan Vendraan.
