Elle Fanning is an American actress. She started her Hollywood career as a young girl some time in the early 2000s. Her debut was in the movie I Am Sam where her older sister Dakota starred. She has since had roles in the films Daddy Day Care, Déjà Vu, Babel, The Nines, and Reservation Road. She made her breakthrough as Alice Dainard in the 2011 movie Super 8, after which she starred in We Bought a Zoo. She went on to portray Princess Aurora in Maleficent and portrayed Nikola Trumbo in Trumbo. She will star as the titular character in the upcoming movie Mary Shelley. She’ll also star in Teen Spirit, to be released in 2018.
