Biography:

Jessie J was born on 27 March 1988 in London, England. During her teens, she competed in Britain’s Brilliant Prodigies where she won Best Pop Singer. When she was 17, she was part of the girl group Soul Deep. She graduated from the BRIT School in 2006. After an unsuccessful start with Gut Records and working as a songwriter, she rose to fame after the release of her first song “Do It Like a Dude” in 2010.

It was followed by the single “Price Tag”, which gained her international prominence. In 2011, she released her debut album Who You Are. Aside from the previously released songs, the album also generated the song “Domino”. Her next album Alive was released in 2013. It spawned the songs “Wild” and “It’s My Party”. Her third album Sweet Talker, which was released in 2014 produced the hit single “Bang Bang”.
