Biography:

Michael Pitt was born on April 10, 1981 in West Orange, New Jersey, U.S.. He made his screen debut in 1997 when he appeared in an episode of Dellaventura. His first recurring character was as Henry Parker on the popular show Dawson’s Creek. In 2002, he starred in the film Murder by Numbers with Ryan Gosling and Sandra Bullock. He next starred in the controversial feature The Dreamers.

Subsequently, he starred in the movies The Village and The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, among others. From 2010 to 2011, he became known for his portrayal of Jimmy Darmody on Boardwalk Empire. This got him a Critics’ Choice Television nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He went on to star in the film I Origins. In 2017, he starred as Kuze in the film Ghost in the Shell.
