Biography:

Dominic Cooper was born on June 2, 1978 in Greenwich, London, England, UK. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art where he graduated in 2000.

In 2001, he made his acting debut in the miniseries The Infinite Worlds of H. G. Wells. He also had a small part in the film From Hell that same year.

He made his breakthrough in 2006 for his portrayal of Dakin in the film The History Boys, for which he received an Empire Awards nomination for Best Male Newcomer.

He became well known for his role as Howard Stark in Captain America: The First Avenger.
