Biography:

Bruno Mars was born on October 8, 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from high school, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a musical career, which he started by producing songs for other artists.

In 2009, he was signed with Atlantic Records and was first recognized after he lent his vocals to the songs “Nothin’ on You” and “Billionaire”, for which he co-wrote the hooks. The following year, he released his debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

The album also spawned the No. 1 singles “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenade”, as well as the hit single “The Lazy Song”.
