Hollywood celebrity Brooke Burke first appeared with an uncredited role in the 1986 film The Wraith. A decade later, she returned to acting as she had her TV debut on Pensacola: Wings of Gold. Afterward, she hosted the TV show Wild On! from 1999-2002. She subsequently landed one-episode roles on such TV shows as Rock Me Baby, Monk, Less than Perfect, It’s All Relative, and The Bernie Mac Show. She then furthered her hosting gigs with the TV programs Rockstar: INXS and Rockstar:Supernova.

In 2004, she appeared in the feature films Dead Scared and Knuckle Sandwich. Back on television, she played recurring character Ellen Morgan on the Fox sitcom The War at Home. In 2008, she was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars’ Season 7. She returned to the show as a co-host from 2010-2013. Following this, she played Felicia Mancini on Melissa & Joey, as well as appeared as herself in Jane the Virgin. Her most recent TV appearance was on The New Celebrity Apprentice.

Brooke Burke stays on top shape by practicing a healthy diet plan. In an interview, she confessed to trying every fad diet to stay slender but she now knows better. “I’ve tried just about every crazy diet you can imagine,” revealed the actress and host.

“But now I’ve learned what really works for my body. She then shared that she and her family follow a Mediterranean diet. This consists of lean grilled beef, chicken, fish, salads, and veggies. She especially loves salmon.

“I also eat five small meals a day”, she added. “And I never skip breakfast, even if it’s just a protein shake. I can honestly say that I’ve never been healthier or fitter in my life.”
