Soap opera star Ashley Jones debuted during the ’90s an episode of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. She later appeared in 2 episodes of The Fire Next Time. Her first starring role on the small screen was as Megan Dennison in the soap opera The Young and the Restless — a role she played between 1997 and 2000. She also starred in the TV movie Our Son, the Matchmaker at the same time.

The following decade, she first had one-time appearances in Strong Medicine, The District, and Without a Trace. She later played Bridget Forrester in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, which she became widely known for. She starred on the show from 2004 to 2018. She simultaneously had performances in the TV films A Teacher’s Crime and Dead at 17.

Jones also became recognized for her recurring character as Daphne Landry in HBO’s True Blood. Other notable performances on television were as Amanda Barnard in 90210, Parker Forsyth in General Hospital, and Tammy Bechtel in Major Crimes. In 2015, she also appeared in the romantic comedy film The Wedding Ringer. Other recent performances were in several TV movies, including More Than Enough and Homekilling Queen.

The actress is health conscious; hence, she’s inclined to opt the healthier route when it comes to her diet. Already in her 40s, she’s already at the point in life where she naturally craves for healthy foods. As for the Ashley Jones diet plan, she typically chooses fish or chicken, brown rice or pasta, and salads for her meals. She also makes sure she eats fruits and vegetables every day. In the morning, she usually has an egg, toast, and blueberries or some other fruit. She also has mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks so she wouldn’t binge during the main meals. Her healthy snack options include almonds, yogurts, and smoothies.
