Actress Annaleigh Ashford started her professional career on the stage. In 2007, she starred as Margot in the MTV musical telecast Legally Blonde: The Musical. She next made her cinematic debut with a small role in 2008’s Sex and the City. That same year, she also appeared with a minor part in the drama film Rachel Getting Married. At the same time, she starred in the web series Haute & Bothered.

She next guest-starred in an episode of Law & Order. She then had a recurring role on the web series Submissions Only. She went on to make one-time appearances on The Big C, Nurse Jackie, A Gifted Man and Made in Jersey. Afterward, she played Lisa McMann in 2 episodes of Smash. From 2013 to 2016, she gained mainstream fame for her role as Betty DiMello in Masters of Sex.

She simultaneously had roles in the films Top Five, Frozen, Better Off Single, and Love on the Run. More recently, she appeared in the movies Unicorn Store and Second Act. Back on TV, she starred in the TV movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again. In 2018, she played Elizabeth Cote in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. She has three upcoming films this year: A Rainy Day in New York, American Reject, and Bad Education.

Active on stage and on the screen, the actress keeps her energy levels up by eating right. As a general rule, she avoids fast food and other junks. Instead, she nourishes her body with lean meat, whole grains, fruits, and lots of greens. She also drinks lots of water for her hydration.

In the morning, she usually starts her day with a bowl of oatmeal with pieces of fruits. Sometimes she has toast and omelet. Lunch and dinner are typically rice or pasta with fish or chicken and vegetable salad on the side. She doesn’t eat red meat that much and stays away from sugary food and drinks.
