Andre Holland is an American actor whose career started in the late 2000s. He debuted in an episode of Law & Order in 2006. He later made his film debut in Sugar, which was released in 2008. That same year, he also acted in the movies Miracle at St. Anna and Last Call. After this, Holland had acting parts in the films Bride Wars and 42. He also starred as Julian “Fitz” Fitzgerald in the short-lived sitcom Friends with Benefits. He later starred as Marshall Malloy in the sitcom 1600 Penn. From 2014 to 2015, he played Dr. Algernon Edwards in the Cinemax series The Knick. He went on to play Matt Miller in American Horror Story: Roanoke and Henry Deaver in Castle Rock. He’ll star in the upcoming series The Eddy. The actor also portrayed Andrew Young in the historical drama Selma, as well as played Kevin Jones in Moonlight. He recently starred in the films A Wrinkle in Time and High Flying Bird.
