Her first starring role on TV was as Loretta in Season 4 of Undressed. She later appeared in the films Scorcher and I Love Your Work. She later played Natalie Duckworth in two episodes of My Name Is Earl, after which she guest-starred in Big Shots and Without a Trace.

From 2008 to 2012, she gained wider recognition for her role as Parker in the TNT series Leverage. While on the show, she appeared in an episode of NCIS. In the 2010s, she also became known for her recurring role as Dr. Maeve Donovan in the CBS show Criminal Minds. Later in 2015, she starred as Anna Rook in the horror thriller film Intruders. That same year, she starred as Samantha Ellison in the short-lived series Complications. She has upcoming films namely I Hate Kids and In Limbo.

In an interview, the actress got candid about her fitness regimen, which she said is crucial for her role in the TV show Leverage. As for the Beth Riesgraf workout routine, she said: “I learned the importance of taking care of my body and staying limber for the stunts very early on in this show. Typically, my workout consists of cardio, usually running, along with some mat work like a Pilates or ballet class.”

Because she did a lot of stunts, she also trained on set. “I would say the stunt coordinators have taught me the importance of strengthening my core and being honest about my physical limitations. Once you have a strong center the chances of injury to your back, neck or any other body part is minimal. It’s also great for posture!”
