Biography:

Alessia Cara was born on July 11, 1996 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. She was 10 when she started playing the guitar. She later started her own YouTube channel with videos of herself covering songs. In 2015, she was signed with Def Jam where she released her first single called “Here”.

The song gave her a success, leading her to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which marked her first television live appearance. She then released her first extended play titled Four Pink Walls, which also contained her debut song. She eventually released her first full-length studio album titled Know-It-All in November 2015.
