Adam Lambert is an American singer-songwriter and actor. He came to prominence after finishing as runner-up on American Idol Season 8 in 2009. He subsequently released his debut studio album For Your Entertainment, reaching #3 on the U.S. Billboard 200. The album spawned the song “Whataya Want from Me”, which earned him a Grammy nomination. His second album Trespassing came out in 2012 where it reached atop the U.S. Billboard 200.

Three years later, his third album The Original High was released. Since 2011, he’s worked with Queen as the band’s lead vocalist with Queen + Adam Lambert. As an actor, he played Elliot “Starchild” Gilbert in 5 episodes of Glee. In 2016, he starred in the TV film The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again. He recently had a voice role in the animated film Playmobil: The Movie.
