Biography:

Kalki Koechlin was born on January 10, 1983 in Pondicherry, India. She attended University of London in Goldsmiths where she studied drama and theatre. While in London, she worked with a theatre company called Theatre of Relativity for two years.

She then moved to Mumbai to pursue acting and try her luck in Hindi cinema. In 2009, she made her film debut in Anurag Kashyap’s Hindi film Dev.D. The film was critically acclaimed and it also earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.

In 2011, she starred in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, for which she got a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
