Biography:

Tobias Menzies was born on 7 March 1974 in London, England, U.K.. He finished his acting degree from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In 1998, he made his television debut as Frank Gallagher on Casualty. Two years later, he made his film debut in The Low Down. He next appeared in the films Piccadilly Jim, Finding Neverland, Casino Royale, and Atonement.

On television, he was first noticed for his portrayal of Marcus Junius Brutus on Rome. In the 2010s, he had notable roles on the TV shows The Deep, Any Human Heart, and The Shadow Line. He next starred as Richard Pembroke on the show Eternal Law. He next portrayed Henry V on Simon Schama’s Shakespeare. He then became known for playing Edmure Tully on Game of Thrones from 2013 to 2016. He also played dual roles of Frank Randall/Jonathan “Black Jack” Randall on Outlander from 2014 to 2017.
