Stephen Fry is an English actor and comedian. He started his film career in the 1980s, debuting in 1985’s The Good Father. He later appeared in the movie A Fish Called Wanda. In the 1990s, his film career became more prolific, starting with a starring role in the comedy Peter’s Friends. After starring in the comedy I.Q., he portrayed Oscar Wilde in the biographical film Wilde. For his performance, he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor. In the following decade, he had performances in the films Gosford Park, The Discovery of Heaven, A Cock and Bull Story, and V for Vendetta. In the 2010s, he had a role in Alice in Wonderland, as well as played Mycroft Holmes in the movie Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.
