She’s also ventured into film. This decade she’s starred in the movies Into the Storm, Pay the Ghost, The Other Side of the Door, and This Is Your Death.

The 40-year-old actress stays in shape by practicing a healthy lifestyle. Aside from eating clean and healthy, she also works out and maintains an active lifestyle. When asked how she stays in shape in an interview, she answered: “I alternate between yoga and hiking. And when Jon (Bernthal) was on the show he’d take me through a boxing workout – he was a professional boxer for a while.”

The actress is also an avid yoga fan, basically doing yoga every day. She focuses on doing hatha style because according to her, it’s “simple and portable”. During filming, she’d arrive on set 30 minutes early so she could do it in her trailer. She said: “It’s my cup of coffee. Twenty minutes and I’m a 100 percent better person.” As mentioned, she also loves hiking and she makes it more fun by hiking with her dog. She believes walking is a great way to clear her head.
