Stefania LaVie Owen was born on December 15, 1997 in Miami, Florida, USA. She was raised in New Zealand. She was active in acting while attending school, which further developed her interest in performing. In 2009, she made her film debut as Flora Hernandez in Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones. After this, she starred as Puddle Kadubic in the TV series Running Wilde. In the 2010s, she became known for playing Dorrit Bradshaw in The Carrie Diaries.
After this, she had performances in the films Krampus, Coming Through the Rye, and All We Had. Between 2016 and 2017, she starred as Nicole Chance in the TV series Chance. She then played recurring character Amanda Robbins in I’m Dying Up Here.
