Hollywood star Rebecca De Mornay had her career beginnings back in the ’80s. Her debut was with a small role in the 1981 film One from the Heart. Shortly after, she gained recognition for her role as Lana in the film Risky Business opposite Tom Cruise. She later starred in the movies Testament, The Slugger’s Wife, Runaway Train, The Trip to Bountiful, and Feds. She also played Beauty in the 1988 film Beauty and the Beast. In the 1990s, she had performances in the films By Dawn’s Early Light, Backdraft, and Guilty as Sin.

Her role as Mrs. Mott / Peyton Flanders in the film The Hand That Rocks the Cradle won her an MTV Movie Award for Best Villain. Later in 1993, she played Milady de Winter in the movie The Three Musketeers. She went on to star in the feature Never Talk to Strangers, which she also executive produced. During this period, she starred in several TV movies, as well as appeared as Elaine Nichols in 5 episodes of ER.

In the 2000s, she had recurring roles in The Practice and John from Cincinnati. Between 2015 and 2019, she played Dorothy Walker in the Netflix series Jessica Jones. She also played Penelope Decker in 2 episodes of Lucifer. Back in the movies, she’s also had performances in the films Flipped, Mother’s Day, A Fonder Heart, Apartment 1303 3D, American Reunion, and I Am Wrath.

The 60-year-old actress Rebecca De Mornay stays in shape by living a healthy life. One aspect of healthy living is clean eating. At her age, she no longer finds herself craving sugary or salty foods. She has since cut down on processed foods. She’s also cut down on red meat and dairy. Instead, she focuses on having fish, chicken, whole grains, veggies, and fruits. She also eats in moderation and snacks on almonds, fruits, and yogurt.
