Biography:

Pooja Bedi was born on May 11, 1970 in Mumbai, India. She is the daughter of the late classical dancer Protima and actor Kabir Bedi. She was educated at Besant Montessori in Mumbai and attended Lawrence School, Sanawar.

Her acting career began in 1991 with her debut in Jag Mundhra’s film Vishkanya. The following year, she starred in the feature Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, for which she earned a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

This was followed by other films including Lootere, Aatank Hi Aatank and Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee. On television, she is known for her appearances in such shows as Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss 2, among others.
