Orlando Bloom is widely known for his performances in mostly epic fantasies, historical epics, and fantasy adventure films, something he has established himself to become a pro. This is the reason he has become the go-to-actor for roles in these genres. His breakthrough was as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. He has since reprised his role in the sequels, Twin Towers and Return of the King, with all films garnering acclaim and commercial success. He played Legolas again in the prequels, The Hobbit trilogy. Additionally, he also portrayed Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Paris in the film Troy, and starred as the lead in Kingdom of Heaven. He will return as Will Turner in the upcoming film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, set to be released in 2017.

Having starred in mostly action-oriented roles, Orlando has made it a habit to practice a healthy lifestyle, both in his eating habits as well as workout sessions. Known for his very active lifestyle, the actor has had a lot of injuries, but these didn’t stop him from engaging in sports and other activities. He’s also known for his meticulous diet plan, which he also credits for his healthy and fit body. Working with a celebrity trainer, his diet plan consists of five small diets in a day.

Mostly, the foods he eats daily are those rich in proteins, fiber, healthy fats, and sugar-free for his drinks. In fact, Orlando also practices a low-calorie vegan diet, which doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s a vegan, but that he eats veggies and fruits most of the time. Going back to his diet, which is called the five factor diet because of five small meals segregated in a day, this not only keeps him nourished sufficiently, but this also allows him to cheat, meaning to indulge in whatever he wants to eat five times in five weeks, or once a week, which of course, is a pretty good deal.
