Biography:

Orlando Bloom was born on January 13, 1977 in Canterbury, Kent, England, UK. He attended Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London where he studied acting.

He then made his film debut in the 1997 movie Wilde. Two years later, he was cast in his first major role as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

He gained further fame for his role as Will Turner in the 2003 film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. He reprised his role in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
