Hollywood star Odette Annable had her beginnings in the early 1990s as a child actress. She debuted in the 1990 film Kindergarten Cop. Her next film role was in 1996’s Dear God. At the same time, she had a role in the TV movie Remembrance. After almost 10 years of hiatus, she returned to acting in 2004, appearing in an episode of the TV series Quintuplets. She next starred as Arielle Casta in the short-lived show South Beach. She also had small roles in the films The Holiday, Transformers, and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. From 2007-2008, she starred as Aubrey Diaz in the ABC show October Road. She later played recurring role Adrienne in Life on Mars.

As a film actress, she had her breakthrough courtesy of her role as Elizabeth “Beth” McIntyre in the film Cloverfield. She then landed her first lead role as Casey Beldon in the horror film The Unborn, followed by a role in the movie Operation: Endgame. In the 2010s, she played recurring roles in Brothers & Sisters, Banshee, and Two and a Half Men. She also starred as Melanie Garcia in the short-lived series Breaking In, as well as gained recognition for her role as Dr. Jessica Adams in House. In 2017, she portrayed Trudy Cooper in The Astronaut Wives Club and starred as Dr. Zoe Brockett in Pure Genius. Her most recent role on TV was as Samantha Arias/Reign in Supergirl.

The actress stays in shape by eating clean and exercising. On the other hand, she admits that going to the gym can be quite challenging for her, so she tries to find other ways to be active. “Well, it’s a drag to try and get to the gym, so I have to find different ways to entertain myself,” said the actress. “Hiking is something that I really, really like to do. It’s distracting, you’re in nature, and you get a nice workout that way.” Apart from hiking, she also maintains her fitness by doing yoga.
