Nelson Lee is a Taiwanese-Canadian actor. He had his career beginnings in the early 2000s. During his initial years, he made several guest roles in such shows as Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Oz. In 2004, he made his film debut in Strip Search. His first starring role on TV was as Shen in Blade: The Series in 2006. He later appeared in the film Vacancy 2: The First Cut. In the 2010s, he mostly made one-episode roles on such shows as Hawaii Five-O, Covert Affairs, The Night Shift, Madame Secretary, and Lethal Weapon. He also made notable guest roles in Sneaky Pete and Claws. As of 2020, he plays Dragon King / Dr. Shiro Ito in the new series Stargirl. He also appears in the upcoming film Mulan.
