Biography:

John Schneider was born on April 8, 1960 in Mount Kisco, New York, U.S.. He was only 17 when he landed the role of Bo Duke on the TV series The Dukes of Hazzard. It became his breakout role with the show airing for seven seasons. After its end in 1985, he starred in the TV films Stagecoach, Christmas Comes to Willow Creek, and Outback Bound. From 1997 to 1998, he played Daniel Simon on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.

In the 2000s, he starred as Jonathan Kent on the television series Smallville. He was part of the show’s main cast from seasons 1-5. He also voiced the role of Rick on the animated series The Mummy: The Animated Series. From 2008 to 2009, he starred as Marshall Bowman in The Secret Life of the American Teenager. In 2013, he started playing the role of Jim Cryer on the show The Haves and the Have Nots.
