Biography:

Milla Jovovich was born on December 17, 1975 in Kiev, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union. At the age of 12, she left school to focus on modeling.

She has been featured in Revlon’s “Most Unforgettable Women in the World” advertisements. She also appeared in campaigns for L’oreal cosmetics, Banana Republic, Christian Dior, Donna Karan and Versace.

She made her first professional acting job in the 1998 television film The Night Train to Kathmandu.

She gained recognition in the 1991 romance film Return to the Blue Lagoon, but it was her role in the science fiction film The Fifth Element that put her into the limelight.
