Biography:

Miles Heizer was born on May 16, 1994 in Greenville, Kentucky, U.S.. At age 10, he started to live in Los Angeles with his family. In 2005, he made his television debut in an episode of CSI: Miami. He has since guest starred on various shows. This includes Ghost Whisperer, Shark, Bones, and Private Practice. His first recurring role was on ER. In 2007, he made his film debut in Rails & Ties.

For his performance here, he was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actor in a Feature Film. From 2010 to 2015, he starred as Drew Holt on the television series Parenthood. He’s also had roles in the films Rudderless, The Stanford Prison Experiment, and Nerve. This year, he gained wider recognition for starring as Alex Standall on 13 Reasons Why.
