Dimple Kapadia is an Indian actress. Her career in Bollywood started in 1973, debuting as the title role in the film Bobby. For her performance, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. In the 1980s, she starred in such films as Zakhmi Sher and Manzil Manzil. She then starred in 1985’s Saagar, which won her the Filmfare Award for Best Actress once again. The rest of the ’80s saw her performing in dozens of movies. In 1991, she starred in the Hindi drama film Lekin…, a role which earned her another Filmfare nomination for Best Actress. She was then greatly acclaimed for her performance in 1993’s Rudaali, a role that won her the National Film Award for Best Actress. Her more recent works on the big screen were in Luck by Chance, Finding Fanny, and Dabangg 3. Also, she made her international debut in Christopher Nolan’s 2020 film Tenet.
