Marcia Cross Diet Plan

Marcia Cross

Hollywood actress Marcia Cross had her career beginnings in the 1980s. Her first regular role was as Kate Sanders in the soap opera One Life to Live. In the ’90s, she first starred as Victoria in Knots Landing. She then became widely known for playing Kimberly Shaw in Melrose Place. She continued her prolific television career in the 2000s.

During this period, she starred as Dr. Linda Abbott in Everwood. She then rose to further success thanks to her role as Bree Van de Kamp in Desperate Housewives. For her work here, she received Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress. In 2015, she started playing a recurring character in the ABC series Quantico. As a movie actress, she had worked in the films Bad Influence, Just Peck, and Bringing Up Bobby.

The 56-year-old actress stays in shape by sticking to a healthy diet. In an interview, she admitted that she struggled to maintain a lean figure. She said: “I’m not like Eva. She can eat anything she wants. It’s unbelievable what that girl eats without gaining a pound. For me, not to eat is a constant struggle.” She also said that she reduces her consumption of carbs every time she feels that she’s gaining extra pounds. She said: “If I feel like I’m putting on weight, I cut down on bread. Ditch the bread and you’ll feel the results.”

In order to avoid hunger in between meals, she snacks on “turkey slices and nuts” for their protein. Her pregnancy with twins also changed her eating habits. She revealed: “I was eating for two, but really, I craved basically very nutritional foods. I mean, I would have loved a few more vanilla milkshakes, but I knew on the other side of it that I wouldn’t want to have to spend months and months losing it. I still topped 190, so I was eating a lot. A lot.”
