Malese Jow

It was in 1997 that Hollywood star Malese Jow started her acting journey. When she was just starting, she appeared in such shows as Barney & Friends and Dellaventura with small roles. In the 2000s, her career, particularly on television, flourished. From 2004 to 2007, she was known for her role as Geena Fabiano in the Nickelodeon sitcom Unfabulous. For her role on the show, she earned Young Artist nominations.

A bit later after the show ended, she was cast as Annabelle “Anna” Zhu in The Vampire Diaries. She then joined the main cast of the short-lived series The Troop. She also became known for starring as Lucy Stone in Big Time Rush. Afterward, she joined the main cast of the series Star-Crossed as Julia Yeung. More recently, she played Linda Park in The Flash, Beatrix Bishop in Filthy Preppy Teen$, and Mareth Ravenlock in The Shannara Chronicles.

The television star takes care of her body and overall health by sticking to an active lifestyle. She strives to workout regularly even when her schedule gets busy. As a matter of fact, she feels more conscious of her healthy habits when she gets busy. She said: “When I start to get busy, I find myself naturally getting even more conscious of my workout and eating habits. Being active (going to the gym or doing something outside) and eating well just makes me feel good, which is really important keeping up a crazy schedule.”

In another interview, she also talked about how she stays active. She revealed: “If I’m working it’s harder to have a routine because the hours are unpredictable. When I’m at home, I always find at least 30 minutes to take my dogs out and be active with them. The pool is also a great way to stay in shape without feeling like I’m working out.”
