Malese Jow is an American actress. Her Hollywood career started in the late ’90s with small roles on television. She got her break in 2004 courtesy of her role as Geena Fabiano in the television series Unfabulous. She earned Young Artist nominations for her role here. Afterward, she starred in the films Bratz: The Movie (debut) and Aliens in the Attic. She also played Alice in the movie The Social Network.

She also became widely known for playing Annabelle “Anna” Zhu in The Vampire Diaries. Subsequently, she joined the main cast of the series The Troop. Her next role was as Lucy Stone in Big Time Rush. She also played Julia Yeung in the short-lived show Star-Crossed. More recently, she played Linda Park in The Flash and Mareth in The Shannara Chronicles. In addition, she was cast for the role of Daya in the upcoming movie Escape Plan 3 starring Sylvester Stallone.

The 27-year-old actress stays fit and healthy by having the natural tendency to consume nutritious food. The actress said that she doesn’t have any specific diets or follow any eating plans. For her, choosing the right kind of food that’s packed with essential nutrients is something that she naturally does. In an interview, she said: “I’m not in a ‘diet’ way. I just naturally have the tendency to reach for things that are good to me.”

She also revealed that when her acting work becomes super busy, she manages to find the time and the effort to continue her healthy habits. She said: “When I start to get busy, I find myself naturally getting even more conscious of my workout and eating habits. Being active (going to the gym or doing something outside) and eating well just makes me feel good, which is really important keeping up a crazy schedule.”
