Laurie Holden is an American-Canadian actress. She started her Hollywood career in the 1980s. She became more active the following decade, during which she mostly guest-starred in many shows before landing her first notable role as Marita Covarrubias in The X-Files. She later played Mary Travis in the series The Magnificent Seven. Following this, she starred opposite Jim Carrey in the movie The Majestic, which gained her significant attention. She next had supporting roles in the films Fantastic Four, Silent Hill, and The Mist. She also played Olivia Murray in the series The Shield. More recently, she became widely known for her role as Andrea in The Walking Dead. She most recently played Renee in The Americans.
